Part of any good market intelligence programme is to gather information on how your competitors or other major businesses conduct their own intelligence programmes. While a lot of companies don't explicitly detail these efforts, with enough effort one can often find useful sources that provide such information. In the presentation above, I provide an overview of Cisco Systems' market intelligence activities.
For those of you that aren't familiar with Cisco, they are a major multinational corporation based in San Jose, California and deal primarily with networking devices. With all the rapid ongoing developments in the tech industry, it makes a great deal of sense for a company like Cisco to invest in a robust intelligence programme, not only to succeed, but to survive.
