In Support of Open Access
Subscription based journals currently represent a significant barrier to the global free flow and development of knowledge.
In many cases institutions in developing countries cannot afford the high subscription rates, while individuals face an even more insurmountable economic barrier. There is simply no reason for such obsoleteinstitutionsto remain in the Information Age, particularly when review procedures have been simplified with web applications. For this reason I fully support open access journals and urge you to do the same.
You will find a list of open access publications on the Directory of Open Access Journals.
